PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY
As EGEN BARKOD LABEL AND PROMOTIONAL INDUSTRY TRADE LTD. CO., the purpose of presenting this privacy policy is to inform you about the possible collection of personal data about you, at your discretion, when you contact us.
Our company may collect personal data for various purposes. Below, it is stated how and in what manner the collected personal data is obtained, and how such data is protected.
Information obtained via telephone, e-mail, filling out forms on our website, or through WhatsApp and similar communication channels (such as name-surname, company information, phone number, address, or e-mail address) is collected by the nature of the business.
Within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), in order to provide you with better services and to fulfill our obligations arising from Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, the Regulation on Distance Contracts, and other relevant legislation, certain personal data (name, surname, date of birth, mobile phone number, landline number, e-mail, address, Turkish ID number, and, if connected via social media accounts, the information shared with consent through those channels, including but not limited to any personal data that directly or indirectly identifies the user) may be requested from you.
Your personal data collected with your consent is used for purposes such as recording contact and address information, conducting periodic campaign activities, designing special campaign activities based on customer profiles, preventing unsolicited commercial electronic messages through customer classification, providing a better shopping experience, conducting marketing, promotion, and informational communications regarding our products and services, collecting and compiling statistical data, increasing customer satisfaction, recognizing customers shopping on the website and using this data for customer analysis, conducting marketing and advertising activities, organizing surveys electronically and/or physically through contracted organizations, allowing contracted institutions and solution partners to make suggestions to customers, informing customers about our services, evaluating customer complaints and suggestions, fulfilling legal obligations, and exercising our rights arising from current legislation.
Within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), which entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette dated 07.04.2016, our Company, EGEN BARKOD LABEL AND PROMOTIONAL INDUSTRY TRADE LIMITED COMPANY, acting as the “Data Controller”, may collect personal data verbally, in writing, or electronically through our dealers operating EGEN BARKOD stores, our call center, our affiliated companies, our websites, our social media pages, and all kinds of channels without limitation. Such data may be recorded, stored, updated, periodically checked, reorganized, classified, retained for the period required by the purpose of processing or stipulated by relevant legislation, and shared with program partner institutions, domestic/foreign persons and institutions providing physical server and/or cloud services, companies providing commercial electronic messaging services, banks, interbank card centers, contracted banks, internationally certified payment institutions, and domestic/foreign advertising agencies, marketing companies, and survey companies within the scope of marketing activities, or other domestic/foreign business partners, in order to carry out our activities and improve customer experience.

In addition to personal information requested via e-mail addresses and membership forms, our Company analyzes and interprets visitor movements and preferences by tracking customers’ navigation information and/or usage history on www.egen.com.tr through cookies. CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Our Company prioritizes the security of credit card holders shopping on our websites. Your credit card information is never stored in our systems.

- To know third parties to whom personal data is transferred, and to request correction of errors in personal data and notification of such corrections to third parties if data has been transferred,
- To request deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data if the reasons requiring processing cease to exist, and to request notification of such actions to third parties if data has been transferred,
- To object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- To request compensation for damages in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.
