Metalized back surface, matte-finished PET – RHA adhesive

General Description

Transfer PET Matte Chrome is made of a matte-finished polyester (PET) film with a metalized back surface.
The smooth top layer features a top coating that enhances ink adhesion and is suitable for
thermal transfer printing. Provides reliable performance with high ultimate adhesion and strong
chemical/heat resistance even on rough or low surface energy substrates.

Adhesive

Type: RHA — Rubber Hybridised Acrylic
Properties: Extremely high ultimate adhesion across a wide range of substrates,
including low surface energy materials. Excellent chemical and temperature resistance.

Liner (Release Layer)

Material: White FSC-certified, super-calendered glassine paper

Applications

Warning and chemical labels requiring a metallic appearance
Low surface energy plastics (PE/PP etc.)
Rough, textured industrial surfaces
Thermal transfer barcode and serial number labels

Adhesive Options

Adhesive Code: 51 — RHA (Rubber Hybridised Adhesive)

Provides excellent performance on low-energy, chemical and heat-resistant surfaces such as automotive parts.
Suitable for industrial applications using TTR (resin) printing.
