General Description

The glossy coated paper surface is combined with a black laminated backside. This blockout construction prevents the information on the underlying label or surface from showing through. It is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications where a glossy appearance is required.

Construction

• Facestock: White, one-side machine-coated, wood-free printing paper with a semi-gloss appearance.
• Back/Barrier: Black laminated cover-up layer (prevents show-through).

Printability

Suitable for letterpress, flexo (UV and water-based), offset, and screen printing. Hot/cold foil stamping, varnishing, and thermal transfer variable data printing can be applied. Testing before application is recommended.

Adhesive

Adhesive Code: 32 — Hotmelt Rubber Adhesive

• High initial tack and permanent adhesion for difficult surfaces.
• Suitable for carton labeling, rough surfaces, and applications requiring outdoor durability.
• Type: Hotmelt rubber-based adhesive.

Application & Usage

Used in industrial labeling applications where a semi-gloss, attractive appearance is desired for multi-color work. Cover-up labels are applied over pre-printed labels to obscure old or incorrect information.
