Oxidizing Substance Hazard Labels

CLASS 5 • OXIDIZERS / ORGANIC PEROXIDES

Class 5.1: Oxidizing Agents

Includes substances that, while not combustible themselves, release oxygen and thereby cause or contribute to the combustion of other materials. Such substances may also be present within an article.

Class 5.2: Organic Peroxides

Organic peroxides are organic substances that contain the divalent –O–O– structure. They can be considered derivatives of hydrogen peroxide in which one or both hydrogen atoms are replaced by organic radicals.

Substances in this class are divided into two subcategories: those that require temperature control and those that do not require temperature control.

General Information

When labeling the transport of oxidizing substances, labels must be durable in terms of the face stock and adhesive, and the printed information must be compliant with standards. The labels we produce are designed to meet these expectations.

Adhesive Code: 33 — Hotmelt Rubber Tyre Adhesive

Hotmelt rubber tyre adhesive is suitable for rough and challenging surfaces thanks to its dense and strong tack. It is ideal for rubber goods, tires, low‑surface‑energy substrates, footwear, plastics, wood, and HDPE and PP drums. It provides high performance even at low temperatures.
