Adhesive Code: 13 — Water‑Based Acrylic Adhesive
The most preferred standard adhesive for general barcode label applications. If aggressive initial tack is not required and the surface is not rough, standard acrylic is suitable. Offers high adhesion strength, excellent wetting of the surface, and reliable low‑temperature performance.
The material features a print‑receptive topcoat to ensure good wettability and ink adhesion with suitable inks. Printable by letterpress, screen, flexographic, offset and gravure processes. Use caution with UV‑curing systems due to the reflective metallic surface. Particularly suitable for embossing. Moisture‑sensitive; avoid exposure to extremes of heat, cold, or humidity as it may affect print performance and surface appearance.
Intended for high‑quality labels for cosmetics, wine and spirits, and other premium products. Suitable where back printing must not show through.
