General Description
Smartrac Sensor Patch is a passive UHF RFID sensor inlay designed to monitor moisture levels in elderly/long-term care and childcare applications. The RFMicron Magnus® S2 IC detects environmental humidity by converting moisture changes into impedance variation and transmits it wirelessly via the Gen2 protocol.
It is applied on the outside of the diaper; preventing direct skin contact and avoiding irritation. It is a disposable, maintenance-free solution and works on various fabric/cellulose/non-woven surfaces, offering easy integration into industrial diaper production lines.
